Maker's Rave Vendors Application

Section 1: Event Overview

Join us for The Maker’s Rave, a high-energy, immersive creative event blending a curated makers market with music, movement, and interactive experiences.


This is not your typical market—we’re creating a vibrant, living environment where people gather, create, and connect.

Event Details:

  • 📅 Date: June 20

  • 🕔 Time: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

  • 📍 Location: The Depot Arts District, Lakeland, FL

  • 🎟️ Expected Attendance: 300+

  • 🏠 Setup: Indoor & Outdoor Vendor Spaces Available

Section 2: Vendor Eligibility

We are currently accepting:

  • Handmade goods

  • DIY kits

  • Unique food & baked goods

  • Specialty beverages (e.g., coffees, dirty sodas)

Please note:

  • ❌ No MLM vendors

  • ❌ No weapons, or non-family-friendly items

  • All vendors must align with the creative, curated atmosphere of the event

Note:

  • Some tables and chairs may be available, but vendors are encouraged to bring their own to ensure proper setup

  • Outdoor vendors are strongly encouraged to bring tents and lighting for a night market atmosphere

Section 5: Food Vendors Only (if applicable)

Do you carry valid food vendor insurance?

Section 6: Logistics & Expectations

Event Timeline:

  • Load-In: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

  • Event Hours: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

  • Load-Out: Begins at 9:30 PM

Additional Notes:

  • Volunteers will be available to assist and keep a general eye on the space

  • No formal security will be provided

  • Indoor DJ music will be present but kept at a moderate level

Section 7: Marketing Commitment

By participating, vendors agree to:

  • Promote the event on their social media platforms

  • Share provided promotional graphics (optional but encouraged)

  • Help contribute to the overall energy and turnout of the event

Section 8: Selection Process

This is a juried event. Vendors are selected to ensure a balanced and

high-quality experience.

  • Applications close: end of May

  • Acceptance notifications sent by: June 5

  • No waitlist will be maintained

Section 9: Payment Information

Accepted vendors will receive payment instructions upon approval. Booth Fee: $25, unless you are Indoors and need electricity $40


Payment methods: All payments can be made directly to the Lakeland Arts Council.

Please note:

  • Booth fees are non-refundable

Section 10: Liability Waiver & Agreement

By submitting this application, you agree to the following:

  • You assume all responsibility for your products, setup, and interactions during the event

  • You release The Maker’s Rave, event organizers, and venue from any liability for loss, damage, or injury

  • You agree to comply with all event rules and guidelines

  • You understand that failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund

  • You agree to only provide the goods/services you've documented on this application.
